In a few words
A brilliant follow-up to last year’s bestselling stocking-filler
What sets Tofield's cartoons apart are the truly comic moments of pure cat-ness: the merciless patting at a half-dead fly, the single-minded determination, that weird little dance thing that segues seamlessly into a look of utter boredom.
The conniving Simon's Cat continues in his very own book. The quirky felis catus, the creation of award-winning illustrator and animator Simon Tofield, is a YouTube phenomenon with more than 30 million hits.
More about
the book
Last year, Simon’s Cat was tipped by many to be the ‘dark horse’ of the Christmas season. It didn’t disappoint. Simon’s Cat was published simultaneously in 25 countries, hit the Sunday Times bestseller list, and sold over 125,000 copies.
This year Simon Tofield returns with a charming follow-up which sees the adorable but incorrigible cat embark on a series of adventures beyond the garden fence. Sharply observed and beautifully drawn, this new book promises to be an even bigger hit than the first.
Extremely amiable.
