Amy Williams is a poet, spoken word artist and mum and the author of the viral poem ‘Six to Eight Weeks’. She has more than a decade’s experience working with children and parents in education. Amy is an advocate for spaces that allow spoken word and the arts to be more readily accessible to those who may not be able to attend what has been accepted to be the normal format for these events – and those who may also be awake before sunrise. Her poetry has been shared by perinatal mental health charities such as PANDAs and featured on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 4.
