A definitive collection of the best pieces from the irreverent cult magazine

VICE magazine started out as a reaction against the humourless, self-righteous posers of the end of the 90s. Originally a black and white fanzine, the magazine is published in 30 countries across the globe, and has grown into an international multimedia empire. A conglomerate of writers, photographers, artists and filmmakers, they report first-hand on war, terrorism, the environment and how everything is going to hell with as much relish as they do sex, drugs and rock ‘n’roll - all served up with a large dose of humour. It’s time to find out for yourself. Welcome to the world of VICE. You’ll like it.

VICE Magazine was founded in Montreal in 1994 and has grown into one of the biggest brands in magazine publishing, with offices in twenty-four cities worldwide. Its unique blend of irreverence, sardonic humour, investigative journalism and photography has carved its own niche in the cultural landscape. More recently it has been a digital pioneer, with the Viceland website and the hugely influential VBS TV which has produced documentaries on Liberia, North Korea, the dance music phenomenon ‘donk’, HEAVY METAL IN BAGHDAD and most recently SWANSEA LOVE SONG. And if that was not enough, there is also Vice Records.
