Terms & conditions

Competition is now open on the Canongate Instagram account and closes 9th September.

Entries received after the closing date will not be counted. Open to UK residents aged 18+ only, excluding employees (and their immediate families) of Canongate Books, Tinwood Estate, and Pallant House Gallery. One entry per person.

The winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries (purchase and free) after the closing date, and notified by email/DM within 14 days. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner. Prize is as stated, non-transferable, and there is no cash alternative. Tickets and vineyard tour must be booked/redeemed by 2 May 2027. Travel and accommodation are not included.

No purchase necessary: if you’d prefer not to pre-order, you can enter for free by emailing totem@canongate.co.uk with your name and the answer to the question above, with Free Entry in the subject line. Free entries have the same chance of winning as purchase entries.
